ATPENZ is a professional association of New Zealand schools and teachers, established to promote the provision of ongoing education for young parents and to support the efforts of the schools and teachers who provide these opportunities.

The Association was formed in October 2002 in Wellington, New Zealand and holds yearly conferences, the first being in Christchurch in August 2003.

The aim of this site is to share information on the provision of teen parent education in New Zealand, to provide links to existing schools in New Zealand and overseas and to encourage the sharing of research information on the education of young parents internationally.

ATPENZ members are enthusiastic about their schools and are willing to share their experiences with others.
